Our compassionate team is dedicated to help others in need!

Revive Hub has been operating its services since 2020 and was formally established as a community interest company in 2024 by its founder, Usma Rehman.

Usma has over 15 years of experience in the housing sector, providing support to vulnerable groups and assisting people into suitable housing. She has worked as a specialist Domestic Violence advocate certified by Women’s Aid and has a passion for supporting women who are fleeing abuse and require assistance with housing.

Our aim is to promote equality in housing for all social groups. It is well known that in order to survive, we require adequate shelter and food. Without these basic needs, it becomes impossible to develop and grow. Revive hub recognises that housing is a priority for all, and we are passionate about investing our resources into the local area to help people live better lives and thrive in their communities. We also aim to make a positive difference in the lives of those who use our services, and give them the independence they need to build a bright future.

Over the past 4 years, we have assisted approximately 1000 households to improve their housing circumstances by providing them with emergency accommodation. We have supported several households with emergency food boxes, hot meals, clothes and monetary donations as well as advice on how to deal with and resolve any housing needs.

We work with several voluntary organisations in the Rochdale Borough and have built strong foundations for joint working. Our dedication to working for the cause of homelessness together with the collaborative work with other partners has ensured that people are guided to a solution for their housing need before it reaches a crisis point. Revive Hub promotes the empowerment of marginalised groups such as refugees and asylum seekers and victims of domestic abuse, ensuring they have access to suitable accommodation and the freedom to make decisions about their future.
